As we all know, that the global business ecosystem is becoming digital, and disruptive technologies like "Blockchain" is generating significant changes in industries sectors like finance, government services, digital payment systems, healthcare, communication, manufacturing etc. In India, itself, Blockchain Adoption has seen a lot of traction in 2016-17. Many financial institutes and business conglomerates have already started experimenting with the Blockchain technology into their systems. Further backed by a powerful initiative like "Digital India" this technology has the true potential to make huge reforms across industry sectors, providing smart solutions that will deliver the digital solutions to most of the challenges India is facing in its digital transformation. Understanding the importance of this technology, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with Government of Maharashtra is organising Maharashtra Technology Summit 2018 on 17th January 2018, in Mumbai. With theme "Digital Transformation through Blockchain" the event will be organised in the financial capital of India, covering topics like "Reimagining Financial Inclusion with Blockchain", "Blockchain - Enhancing the skill and talent landscape of India"," "Moving beyond Financial Services - Improving Supply Chain and Manufacturing with IoT - Driven Blockchains", and "Blockchain and Governance" etc.
